What is your ethos?

At Sowing Seeds Family Hub Preschool, our ethos is: "Play, learn, grow, succeed: Together we bloom." This underpins everything that we do in each session with the children.

When are you open?

We are open term-time, Monday to Friday from 9.15 to 12.15 for a maximum of 15 children per session.

Do you accept funded places?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we accept 15 hours of funding for 2,3, and 4 year olds. For more information, check out the governments Childcare Choices webpage.

What are your fees?

Our fees (if you are not funded) are £9.00 per hour. We also charge a £15.00 activities charge per week which covers all your child's extra curricular provision e.g. music and sport classes. Please note that you can opt out of this activities charge, but your child will not take part in these classes.

What does a normal session look like?

Children arrive and take part in morning carpet time, which involves singing and welcoming all the children. This is followed by indoor choosing time, where the children can free-play with a range of activities which are focused on promoting the 7 areas of learning.
After tidy up time, the children sit down together to enjoy a healthy snack where we focus on promoting the children's independence and developing their communication and language skills.
Next, the children enjoy free play in the outdoor area which focuses on their physical development as well as personal, social, and emotional development. 
At the end of each day, the children will take part in a range of extra curricular activities, such as art, music, sports, drama and football.
We finish the day with a story and getting ready to go home.
