About
Sowing Seeds Family Hub was born out of a passion for our local community. Whilst previously running Sowing Seeds Preschool from 2017-2023, it became evident that there was a desire for more to be on offer for our residents and wider area.
Our community has been lacking in facilities and support groups for individuals, families and children, which is why we are so proud to have established our charity run family hub. We recognised that there was a need for a place where people of all ages and backgrounds, could come together, find support, and access resources that they may not have had access to before.
Our aim is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported. We want to meet the needs of our community by providing a range of classes and support groups, so check out our classes page, we be will adding to it as we grow!
We also understand that social isolation and loneliness can be significant issues in our community, which is why we are passionate about creating opportunities for connection and community building. Our hub is a place where everyone can come together, make new friends, and feel a sense of belonging.
One of the unique features of our family hub is our voluntary run Life Cafe. This is a space where anyone can come and enjoy a coffee or a snack, and connect with others in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
